Caracana, which is Cornish for the love of music and song, has been in existence in Cornwall for a number of years and with the present line up for the last four. We play mostly Cornish and other Celtic music but are the first to admit that tunes have no boundaries. A good tune is a good tune! We play for Street Dancing, Ceilidh’s, Noze Looan, Parties, Weddings and Festivals of all kinds. We have made sad people happy and happy people even happier and have been scorched and frozen and soaked and blown all over and we love it – hence our name and the title of our first cd!

For bookings or enquiries please email us at HIGH PIT PRESS or phone: 01208 841660

Please see products page for CD sales. And some FREE music!

Caracana was chosen to represent Cornwall at the 2007 Festival Interceltique de Lorient, in Brittany. We all had a great time at this huge Celtic festival which featured seventyfour groups of musicians and dancers from all the Celtic countries.
